The activist from Nyeri became famous after he embarked on a journey to hug a tree for 72 hours without stopping, surpassing his previous record of 48 hours.
The new record has not yet been officially confirmed, with the Guinness World Records team saying they are awaiting its submission.

Through her social media page, she proudly announced that she was listed among the 100 Most Influential Women in Kenya by the Independent Kenya Woman Awards.
He was ranked third as the champion of the environment and celebrated the recognition by promising to continue his important work.
