Everything started to go wrong when his brother passed away Betty BayoEdward Mbugua, when he came forward to talk about his sister’s illness and death.
She claimed that her husband, Hiram Gitau aka Tash, did not inform the family about the seriousness of the singer’s health problems.
Mbugua further claimed that Tash was not officially married to their sister, which left netizens with mixed feelings.
On the other hand, Kanyari was accused of paying bloggers to smear Tash’s name, which he denied.
While he was preaching in his church, he claimed that his children have been hostile to him since their mother died and wondered if they were being taught to do so.
What did Pastor Kanyari say about Tash?
However, he changed his mind after criticism from social media users and is now warning those who say bad things to stop.
“If social media is fighting with the family, please stop. They should stop fighting with Tash, she lived with Betty Bayo well. Leave Sky and Danny, leave the family alone. Let Tash, Danny and Sky rest. Leave her mother Betty alone. I know what is best for Danny and Sky but for now, let them rest a little and it will be fine. Let the past stay in the past and focus on the future,” he said.
He also advised people who go to his church to wish to become members so that they can get the right help whenever it arises.
“Be a member of this church. How many say they will be members of this church? Be a member of this place. Be a friend of the chairman of the church. Be a friend of the people you see ahead, don’t die alone. Don’t suffer alone in this country,” he added.
