Kennedy spoke during the farewell mass for his father, who died in a Nairobi hotel and was mourned by people from all walks of life.
“You knew him as a hard worker, but to me he was a family man, father and friend,” said Kennedy. “Not only was he a father, but he also understood my life; we didn’t have any big fights, and he treated me as his equal, not as his child,” he added.
