Kanyari’s children, Sky Victor and Danivictor, have been mourning their mother, and since her death, the pastor has shown his determination to take care of them.
The children have been staying with their stepfather, Tash (Hiram Gitau), since Betty’s death, while there is a fierce debate about who will raise them.
Kanyari’s Relationship with Her Children
In recent days, Kanyari has been seen spending time with her children, even taking them to eat together.
However, recently he claimed that their behavior towards him has changed.
Speaking in his sermon at the church on Sunday, December 14, Kanyari said:
“Ever since their mother died, they’ve been a bit negative. I’m starting to wonder if it’s something they’re being trained to do. They’ve messed around a lot, but I understand.”
Despite this, Kanyari insisted that he continues to fulfill his life responsibilities as a father, also explaining their last trip to buy clothes:
“On Thursday they called me saying they don’t have clothes to wear, although they actually have them. I don’t know why they wanted others. However, I don’t like a lot of drama, so we went to buy clothes and I bought them clothes worth KSh 78,000. The clothes I bought only God knows, actually now I have a daughter because she told me to sit down while she was looking for what she wanted.”
Kanyari confirmed that despite the different behavior he saw, he will continue to raise his children and be present in their lives.
