A family of 15 was traveling to bury their grandmother, but sadly, they had an accident in Naivasha, just minutes after talking to their father, who predicted that they would arrive home by 4pm.
Sadly, that did not happen. The village, which was waiting for a family meeting, met under the most difficult conditions, and had to put the children to rest.
At the time of death, the family needed KSh 4.5 million to bury the whole family and KSh 1.5 million for the daughter who survived but later died.
How did Robai die?
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Robai’s cousin, identified as Martin Likhwesi, said that he had been in hospital since the accident, recovering. But when she heard that her family members, including her baby, were being buried, the middle-aged woman said she was well enough to go home.
After the funeral of the child and other family members, Robai started to feel bad and was rushed to the hospital, where he sadly died. His body has been returned home for burial tomorrow, December 10, said Likhwesi.
Unfortunately, Harun is left without a single child in the world, and now he and his wife are the only ones in their farm. All his sons, who had built houses in the compound and the grandmother’s house, have now left them empty. It is a heavy burden for the family to bear, he added.
