However, attention has now turned to Betty’s family after her brother, Edward Kang’ethe Mbugua, revealed previously unknown details about her last days.
During the latest live show on TikTokMbugua revealed that Betty’s family did not know the severity of her illness before her death.
He recounted their close relationship and how Betty was always open with him about minor health issues, such as minor headaches or the flu.
According to Mbugua, there were no early signs of the serious illness that eventually took his life.
Moreover, those close to him allegedly did not inform them about what was going on.
“I didn’t know about her being sick with anything other than a little headache and a runny nose, which are things she would tell me about. I don’t know exactly what happened until she got sick, and I was never informed. I don’t know anything about her being very sick. At home, no one knew that Betty was sick or down.” he explained.
“If my sister had spoken, maybe things wouldn’t have turned out the way they were. We only found out at the last minute,” he added, explaining that when the call finally came, they all rushed to be with him.
It is worth mentioning that, according to Betty’s close associate, gospel singer Shiru of GP, was sick for about a week.
Shiru said that Betty was rushed to AAR Hospital earlier when her condition worsened at home, before being taken to KNH for advanced treatment.
What is Betty’s family planning now?
Mbugua emphasized that his main priority now is to ensure that Betty’s children are well taken care of.
He expressed his opinion that the children should remain with Pastor Kanyari, noting that despite their separation, he continued to fulfill his fatherly duties.
The children, Sky and Danivictor, have been with Tash since the funeral.
