Kisii – Clear CCTV footage has emerged showing the moment an MP from Kisii assaulted his fellow man.

In a heartbreaking video shared by Citizen TVthe victim, identified as Omariba Moriasi, was sitting in a restaurant, enjoying a meal on Thursday, November 27.

What time did the Member of Parliament from Kisii attack a man?

In the video, the Member of Parliament for Kisii entered the hotel wearing green pants, a black jacket, and a mask at 8:49 am.

The video captures the MP pointing and shouting at Moriasi, who was wearing a white T-shirt and a red hat.

In a short time, the Kisii MP is seen kicking and attacking the man by kicking him in the chest and grabbing the man by the neck.

The confrontation caused staff and other customers to rush in and try to separate the two.

The MP continued his attack, punching Moriasi to the floor despite attempts to stop him. The video also shows the MP hitting another customer who intervened.

Why did the Member of Parliament attack a man from Kisii?

Speaking to Citizen TV, Moriasi claimed that the MP attacked him because of an alleged love triangle.

He revealed that the mock MP attacked him for allegedly having an affair with his girlfriend.

“He came at me fast, shouting that I must respect him and accused me of having an affair with his girlfriend. Then he started beating me,” Moriasi said.

Moriasi’s lawyer, Benard Atancha, questioned why the MP was not arrested despite the complaint being lodged the same day at the Kisii Police Station.

“We have followed all the procedures, but the police have not arrested the person who attacked my client with unknown people in a shared restaurant in Kisii Town,” said Atancha.
