Nairobi – Odinga’s family is preparing to hold a Holy Mass for his sister former prime minister Raila Odinga, the late Beryl Achieng.

The sister of the former leader of the ODM party died on November 25 after battling cancer for many years.
In a statement, Ruth Odinga announced that the family will hold mass at Beryl’s home in Kileleshwa on Sunday, November 30.

Former prime minister Raila Junior’s son gave new information about where his aunt Beryl Achieng will be buried in Kang’o Ka Jaramogi.
According to Junior, they sat down with other members of her family to choose where Beryl would be buried.
Junior was recently declared the new head of the family in the Raila family in a traditional ceremony held three days after the politician’s funeral.

In a separate report, Raila’s daughter Winnie Odinga came to Lee Funeral Home to mourn with his family members.
He was captured hugging his cousin, Tairai, who was Beryl’s youngest child, as other mourners looked on.
The emotional moment hit Winnie as she stood firm as Taira leaned her face into his shoulders, while he held her.
He was also caught hugging one of Tairai’s sisters, who was also present at the famous mortuary.
Their aunt Ruth Odinga also shared a photo of herself, Beryl and Raila and wrote an emotional message.
He referred to Beryl as his best friend, and asked her to greet Raila for him when they meet in the afterlife.
