Who was Maurice Ogeta to Raila?
Ogeta served Raila for more than 18 years and was among the last people to see the former prime minister alive; the video shows the beloved politician walking around the hospital with his bodyguard following him closely.
When Raila died, Ogeta was saddened, and it was evident when he joined government officials and relatives of the politician to bring him home in a coffin.
He was given the same respect as the MPs when the elders were looking at Raila’s body and attracted the President William Rutowho felt sorry for him.
Ogeta has been staying away from the public eye, which is a reflection of how life has changed after the death of his boss.
However, on November 29, he led his family to visit the tomb of a national hero, and he seemed deeply affected.

Where are Maurice Ogeta’s rooms?
From Kang’o Ka Jaramogi, Ogeta led his family and gave each of them a one-bedroom house as a thank you and to help them earn an income in the future.
This is a building he had built Bondo.
“I thank God for what happened today. God has done something wonderful this evening. I didn’t think Maurice could do something like this,” said one of the beneficiaries of the houses.
“Maurice Ogeta has given each of his immediate family a room for a period of five years to collect taxes, and after that they will return it. Don’t forget your house number, so that you don’t end up collecting taxes yourself, man.” warned a woman.

Another case revealed how Kenyans were stunned by the apartment complex where Ogeta lived with his relatives.
Ogeta had just left with his entire family, and the video shows them looking at the house in wonder as well.
