Betty died on Monday, November 11, after being diagnosed with sudden myeloid leukemia.
Who will take custody of Betty Bayo’s children?
After his death, the upbringing of his two children, Sky Victor and Danivictor, has become a hot topic.
The children are from his previous marriage Pastor Victor Kanyari, who has been open about his intention to take custody amid allegations that others close to Betty may take the children.
It is also worth noting that Betty was married to Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash, who also took on the role of father to the children.
Tash contributed to the debate on social media after she was seen with the city attorney when tensions over custody arose.
Has Kanyari bought a new house for the children?
Despite the rumours, Pastor Kanyari seems determined to take care of his children.
During a sermon at his church Salvation Healing Ministries Church on Sunday, November 16, he revealed that his house in Njiru is often full of people, as he enjoys having many people around, which Betty did not like, and her children also claim they did not enjoy that.
The preacher shared that he has been looking for a house in Runda and when he found it, he bought it for himself and his children, now their mother, with whom they lived, is no longer there.
“Yesterday I was in Runda looking for a house to buy, and we found one for sale for KSh 90 million. It even has a swimming pool. I told those who were with me that that is the house I will buy. They showed me another one for KSh 45 million, but I refused. I will buy the one for KSh 90 million. My children will be getting married there,” Kanyari said.
He added that he is not married yet, as he is careful about the woman who will bring him home for his children.

In related news, Pastor Kanyari revealed that he faced sleepless nights following Betty’s death as he tried to cheer himself up following the loss.
She remembered a vivid dream where Betty appeared after her children asked her about her whereabouts.
The preacher has been crying openly about Betty’s death, although some people have accused him of mourning too much.
