Hassan Joho Threatens To Destroy ODM If He Is Expelled From The Party: “If Bad, Bad”

Mombasa – Minister of Mines Ali Hassan Joho He has hinted at the existence of plans to expel him from the ODM party towards the 2027 General Election.

Speaking at the party’s 20th anniversary on Saturday, November 15, Joho claimed that there are plots to expel him from the party because of his support for the President William Ruto in the wider national government.

Joho warned those planning to expel other members that the attempt would be dealt with severely.

He emphasized his loyalty to the party, recalling his dedication since he started politics at the age of 20.

Joho promised to expel those who follow him or persecute him, saying that he did not sacrifice himself for the party in vain.

“Don’t think of us as bait or sacrifice. I’m telling you, for some of us, our blood is hot. If you bring it, we bring it; if you follow us, we follow you. If you chase us, we’ll chase you. We’ll face each other. If you look for me, I’ll look for you,” Joho said.

How Hassan Joho warned ODM leaders

Joho promised to fight those who criticize him, warning that he will not be a sacrifice even if it means the party is divided.

“It is important to protect this party. I want to tell these people that you will not be able to give us away or sacrifice us. Some of us have the ability to fight,” he said.

In his post on social media after the speech, Joho pledged to vigorously defend the party’s foundations:

“ODM is standing strong today because of the sacrifices we quietly made as founders. We faced uncertainty, we stood firm in times of doubt, and we chose a position instead of simplicity. It is on this foundation of struggle, vision, and shared hope that this party was built.”

In other news, President William Ruto explained how ODM leader and Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga who was a reliable person for his late brother, Raila Odinga. The leader of the nation disclosed that Oburu was the one who designed the ministries for the wide government arrangement.

Speaking at the ODM Founders’ Dinner in Mombasa on Saturday, November 15, the president said Oburu had played a major role in the many political journeys of the late Raila.

The President said that in everything he had agreed with Raila, Oburu was participating as his chief advisor and witness. He recalled how Raila referred him to Oburu during discussions on the formation of a broad government.
