My morning walk through the Mbeere North mango plantations has been very enjoyable and a breath taking experience. I combined the pursuit of good health with a face-to-face campaign for Newton Karish, my chosen candidate for the Mbeere North Assembly by-election,” said Gachagua.

In his post on Facebook, Gachagua congratulated the opposition candidate for getting support from the residents of Mbeere North.

According to Gachagua, the residents he met assured him that they will not be affected by the funds allegedly provided by the government Kenya First.

“I met with my colleagues in the village at home to start a door-to-door campaign. I am very happy with the response and support of the residents that they cannot sell their votes, regardless of the price. For the next nine days, I will be in the field, listening and interacting with the people of Mbeere North,” he said.
