The party, which was founded by a famous politician Raila Odingaturned 20, and members are celebrating.

Earlier, when the party turned 20, Raila was ill, and they postponed the celebrations to another date.

Speculation started about the former prime minister’s health when the party failed to celebrate the milestone.

A month after his death, the party organized a three-day celebration from November 14-16.

On the second day of the celebrations, a montage was played, apparently to ‘welcome’ the late politician to the event.

The MP admitted that it was an emotional moment, but the tears were not of pain; they were a form of release.

He said that the meeting in Mombasa gave him peace a month after his father’s death.

“Today is November 15. It is only one month since Father left us, but when I was sitting there, I want to thank the chairman of my party, the organizing committee for this event, except Junet (laughter exploded) that for the first time you made me shed tears. The tears I shed were not of pain. For the first time, you made me feel that everything has ended here and we need to move forward. You have given me peace today.” he said.
