The Kenya Wildlife Service has announced a rare incident that occurred in Amboseli National Park.

In a statement released on their social networks, KWS said that one elephant gave birth to twins.

“When nature says ‘one is not enough,'” you know something special is coming… twins are in the chat! Twin elephant calves were recently spotted in Amboseli, the famous home of African elephants – a rare sight of nature’s quiet miracles!” KWS announced in an exciting post.

They praised the conservation efforts that have been ongoing to ensure that wildlife in the country not only survives but also thrives.

According to Safari Professionals, the first set of elephant twins were born in 1980.

Kenyans took to their social networks to express their joy at the latest success in the country’s wildlife sector.

In an earlier incident, a Spanish tourist angered Kenyans after he was caught on video pouring beer down an elephant’s trunk.

Before giving the beer to the elephant, the tourist drank from the can before giving it to the elephant.

The video that was distributed on Instagram with the caption “It’s a tusker and a friend with teeth”.

Kenyans were angered by the act of the tourist, while others called him names, causing him to delete the video on his social networks.

Employees of the privately owned zoo expressed their shock, with one of them known as Frank insisting that the incident should not have happened in the first place.
