Speaking at a rally held in Kisumu county on Sunday, November 9, Minister Wandayi said that in 2027 there will be only two political alliances — one under the leadership of Ruto and the other under the former deputy president, Rigathi Gachagua.
Should ODM support Ruto in 2027?
Wandayi told those who attended the meeting that Ruto is a friend of the Orange party; therefore, those who supported former prime minister Raila Odinga should now support the leader of the coalition Kenya First to ensure victory in the next election.

He emphasized the importance of unity in the region, saying that voting together is what will keep them politically influential.
“We must remain united and vote as one group, because that is the only way to ensure that our votes count,” he added.
How can ODM supporters respect Raila Odinga?
Wandayi urged that the vision of Raila Odinga about national unity through cooperation with the government must be respected and maintained.
“To honor him, let us not stray from the path he left for us. That is the path that will unite all Kenyans,” said the Minister of Energy.
