A video that went viral online showed an embarrassing moment between controversial preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari and TikToker Nyawira Kamotho.

The two have been romantically linked for some time now and are known for their scandals, which previously sparked strong accusations.
However, Nyawira hit back at critics who offered unsolicited advice about his relationship with Kanyari.
The controversy started after a video from one of Kanyari’s church services showed him making remarks about Nyawira’s marital status, which many Kenyans found offensive and humiliating.
Did Nyawira Kamotho marry Kanyari?
Despite the turmoil, she reiterated her love for the preacher, saying their relationship was based on personal choice and understanding. Nyawira asked critics to respect his decisions.
A recent video recorded inside the Kanyari church showed the preacher in the pulpit. He had converted the house of worship into a kitchen.
A man dressed in Maasai clothing was seen carrying maize in a basket, while another was grilling different cuts of meat nearby.
Kanyari enjoyed the meal while Nyawira stood beside her, appearing to sing into the microphone. Then soon Nyawira got down on one knee and presented what appeared to be a ring to Kanyari.
She looked at him briefly before ignoring him, but he stayed and pulled her hand. One of the men giving him food gave him an amused look.
Kanyari continued to reject Nyawira’s influence, and finally stood up and left the pulpit smiling.

In other news, Kanyari criticized Bishop Muthee Kiengei for his involvement in the donation drive for Mama Gift, a woman with a sick child in Meru.
Thousands of youths supported the plan, but Kanyari claimed that Kiengei used the event for publicity.
While some Kenyans agreed with Kanyari’s views, others accused him of promoting unnecessary competition within the church.
The dispute sparked a debate online, highlighting tensions between religious leaders and differing views on the motives of charitable activities.
