Double Delight for Manchester United as Ruben Amorim and Bryan Mbeumo Clinch Top Award

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim and forward Bryan Mbeumo have been awarded a prestigious Premier League award for their unblemished run in October.

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has been awarded the Premier League Manager of the Month for October, marking his first time receiving the honour.

Amorim, who took the helm at Old Trafford in November 2024, guided his team to a perfect record in the league last month. This impressive run of three victories helped to alleviate the pressure that had been building after a challenging start to his tenure.

The successful month began with a 2-0 victory over Sunderland, followed by a significant 2-1 win at Liverpool—United’s first at Anfield since January 2016. They capped off their perfect October by defeating Brighton 4-2.

Who is Ruben Amorim Dedicating the Award to?

Despite the personal accolade, Amorim was quick to praise his squad. “The credit is not mine; the credit is for my players,” he stated as quoted by the BBC “They did really well, and our goal is to win the next one, because it means we win football matches and that is our goal.”

This is the first time a Manchester United manager has won the award since Erik ten Hag in November 2023.

The team’s recent form, however, was checked by a draw against Nottingham Forest on November 1st, leaving them eighth in the Premier League table ahead of their upcoming match against Tottenham on Saturday.

In a double for the club, forward Bryan Mbeumo secured the Player of the Month award for October, contributing three goals and an assist across United’s three league wins.
