A man from Kirima village, Kiserian town, Kajiado county, has broken his silence following a sad incident.

On Wednesday, October 29, around four o’clock in the morning, a wife and mother of two small children lost her life in a horrible way.
It is alleged that Margaret Waithera was attacked and killed on her way to the farm, close to home.
He was reportedly stabbed to death by an unknown person, leaving his family in fear and pain.
Margaret cried for help
Her husband, David Njenga, narrated the last moments before his wife reportedly lost her life at the hands of a stranger.
“It was morning, and as usual, Margaret prepared us with herself. I have a farm that I had rented and I have not finished planting. Since it had rained, Margaret did not want the rain to go to waste – she wanted to take advantage of it. The suspect did not leave her – he stabbed her brutally. She had no chance,” Njenga said, with tears in her eyes.
Margaret’s desperate cries for help attracted nearby villagers, who rushed to the scene.

What was David doing at home?
The distant hills also caught David’s attention when he was busy at home digging a toilet hole.
“I heard a noise because the farm is not far from the house. It was deep, but I couldn’t hear it well. I thought maybe it was the children playing. Then I heard the child crying and I thought I should take the child to the mother since she was not far away. But I decided to give the child food first, and the crying became less.
“The screams continued, I knew something was wrong. A few moments later, a woman came running to my house, panting. She called me and asked me to follow her. I asked her if something was wrong, she told me there was something wrong,” David said.
When they arrived at the farm, David found his wife badly stabbed while surrounded by people who were crying as they looked at her lifeless body.
What hospital was Margaret rushed to?
“I touched him to confirm. I couldn’t believe it was him,” he said softly.
Margaret was rushed to St. Mary’s in Kiserian, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The family described Margaret as generous, humble, hardworking, and always at peace with everyone around her.
“He never had hatred or jealousy towards anyone. Believe me,” Margaret’s grieving husband said.

A Machakos mother speaks out after her daughter’s death
In a separate case, the mother of Machakos who was allegedly stabbed by her boyfriend also spoke.
Josephine Ndunda said her daughter, Virginia Wayua Nzioki, was scheduled to join the university in January 2026.
Ndunda claimed the attacker identified himself as Wayua’s husband and even sent her disturbing photos of the crime scene.
