A shocking and tragic incident has left the Lugari community in shock after Simon Isiaho Shange, the principal of Munyuki PAG Secondary School went missing.

Isiaho disappeared in the early hours of Monday, November 3, on his way to the examination center to collect his KCSE papers.
Kemboi, Chairman of Kesha, Kakamega County, told TUKO.co.ke that Isiaho left home around 11:30 in the morning and went to Turbo to refuel before continuing the trip to pick up the paper.
However, his car was involved in an accident at the Muge black spot near Omega, near the Lumakanda bus stop on the Eldoret-Malaba highway.

Residents who discovered the scene say the car showed signs of being involved in an accident, but there was no sign of the driver.
Searches at nearby hospitals and morgues have so far failed to locate him, and his phone remains switched off.
“It is alleged that he got out of the car with a fine and walked. What happened next is not clear,” the chairman explained.

Tragically, officers who visited her home found the door open, adding to the family’s fear and community anxiety.
His colleagues describe Mr. Shange as a dedicated head teacher who was traveling on business to ensure the safe collection and delivery of exam papers to protect the integrity of his students.
“He left before dawn to make sure everything was fine for the KCSE candidates. It’s heartbreaking to find him,” one teacher said, her voice breaking.
The local police have launched an investigation and a search operation, with families, students and residents coming forward to watch and help find the way.
The questions are many: Did the accident force him out of the car? Was he taken elsewhere? Or did something worse happen after the accident? At the moment, the answers are still not available.
The community is asking anyone with information; drivers, traders, or travelers who were on the Eldoret–Malaba Highway early Monday, to come forward.
As prayers and searches continue, Munyuki Secondary and the wider Lugari community are holding out hope for Mr Isiaho’s safe return.

A Kisumu teacher disappears after a hit and run incident
In the case of another missing person, one family of Poisonous is in mourning after the disappearance of Maricus Owino on Friday, October 31.
According to his wife, the Mathematics teacher at Lela Secondary School was involved in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident.
He was later taken to the Kisumu County Referral Hospital but was not treated, and disappeared on his way home.
