Karen Nyamu Turns the Table on Ledama Olekina for ‘Forgetting’ His Name During Raila’s Funeral

Senator-elect Karen Nyamu he finally got his due against Narok County Senator Ledama Olekina.

The controversial act between the two MPs starts at the funeral ceremony of the former prime minister Raila Odingawho died on October 15.

What happened between Olekina and Nyamu?

During the solemn ceremony, Olekina was given the task of introducing the members of the Senate to the mourners.

To many workers, Olekina introduced them flawlessly, but when it came to Nyamu, he pretended to have forgotten his name.

Nyamu’s surprised reaction was noticeable, although later Olekina admitted that he was only joking.

However, the damage had already been done, with mourners laughing for a while, with many wondering how he could have forgotten the name of one of the most popular MPs in the country.

How did the animal respond?

Nyamu had a chance to respond during the Senate session on November 5.

While addressing the housing business, Olekina joked that he now remembers Nyamu’s name, unlike during Raila’s funeral.

However, Nyamu was quick, making a point of order, quoting Standing Order 41:

“My point of order is under Standing Order 41. We are only two senators in the parliament; we do not have a quorum,” he said with a sly smile.

Sharing the moment on Facebook, he wrote:

“I felt too good to be a careless person for interrupting Ledama. The session was adjourned until tomorrow. Let’s just say he didn’t see the payoff coming.”
