It seems that Lamine Yamal has confirmed that he has bought a new house that was previously owned by Gerard Piqué and Shakira.

Yamal is arguably the most promising player in world football and was recently handed a new contract that runs until 2031.

How much does Lamine Yamal get paid?

According to Capology, his new contract sees the 18-year-old player earn around KSh 46 million per week.

ESPN further adds that his new contract puts him in the top 10 highest paid players in the world this year after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Inside the new Lamine Yamal house

The deal has come with goodies, with Yamal reportedly spending around KSh 2 billion to buy a new house.

Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo reports that the house is 3,800 square feet and is made up of three separate buildings.

Former Barcelona defender Piqué and his ex-wife sold the house after their divorce in 2022.

Characteristics of the new Lamine Yamal house

Moving into the new home is understood to be imminent after Yamal posted a photo on Instagram. He will live with his cousin and his friend.

The house, which was reportedly built in 2012, has an outdoor and indoor swimming pool.

The mansion also has a tennis court and a recording studio, which Shakira may have used.

Lamine Yamal statistics this season

The 18-year-old has been in and out of Hansi Flick’s team due to a groin injury. The injury has prevented him from playing only nine games this season.

The victory took the Blaugrana to 25 points, but they are still five points behind their rivals, Real Madridwho beat them 2-1 in El Clásico last week.

“I saw a lot of things we did well, but I also saw some things we didn’t do well. We have to improve. We are more confident with this victory; it’s another step, but we have to continue. I’m happy, and we have to think positively about the next games,” said Flick after the game via the club’s website.

Next up for the Yamal team are two away trips to Belgium to face Club Brugge in the Champions League before playing Celta Vigo in La Liga.
