TV 47 reported that the sophomore at Goshen Medical College located there Thika was stabbed to death by his friend in Makindu on Sunday, November 2.

How a student of Goshen Medical College died in Makindu

Initial reports indicate that three nursing students went to have fun at a popular bar; when they returned to the room, an argument broke out.

One of their friends, Mary Wanjiku, said they went out at night to celebrate after completing their practical training at Makindu Sub-County Hospital.

Mary revealed that she left early to go to bed and when she woke up in the morning she saw messages on WhatsApp explaining that her colleague had died.

“We had gone to celebrate our last day of attachment. In the morning I received information that my partner Gloria had been stabbed to death. She was my close friend,” said Mary.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a fight broke out between three female students who returned to their boarding house, and two of them tried to lock the deceased out of the room.

A neighbor said he heard screams shortly before seeing the deceased crawling out from inside bleeding profusely and asking for help.

The neighbor who recorded the altercation with his mobile phone said the deceased lost consciousness shortly after, and the efforts of the neighbors to save him failed.

According to the doctors of Makindu Sub-County Hospital, the death was caused by a knife wound in the neck. Another nursing student, who is the main suspect, was also treated at the same hospital for stab wounds.

The police have arrested Sharon Muteti for questioning while the investigation into the incident continues. Detectives suspect alcohol was a factor in the altercation, and are reviewing video evidence while awaiting official witness statements.

Where Jane Atila’s body was found

In other sad news, the sprawled body of Jane Atilawho was reported missing at the Kikuyu Police Station on October 13, was found dumped in a bush in the forest of Kefri Muguga.
