For example, the former president Uhuru Kenyatta touched many Kenyans after visiting Raila Odinga’s family shortly after the ODM leader’s funeral.

Uhuru visited Raila’s grave together with Oburu Oginga and several relatives before heading to the Opoda family home.

He spent time with Raila’s widow, children, and close family members, who received him warmly.

Many Kenyans congratulated the former head of state for showing friendship and sympathy to Odinga’s family during their mourning.

Mama Ngina Kenyatta visits Ida Odinga

Mama Ngina, the widow of founding president Jomo Kenyatta and Uhuru’s mother, appeared again on Thursday, October 30, to console Raila’s family.

Photos shared by Uhuru’s social media strategist, Pauline Njoroge, showed the beautiful mother wearing an African-inspired outfit with a t-shirt and matching skirt.

On his finger was a golden ring; she was also wearing a matching wristband and pearl necklace. The mother of the family wore a wig and smiled warmly as she hugged him Ida Odinga.

Another photo showed Mama Ngina accompanied by Muhoho Kenyatta, George Muhoho, and other family members as they presented Ida with a bouquet of flowers.

Winnie Odinga was also there, and they took pictures at Odinga’s family home in Nairobi.

“Today, Mama Ngina Kenyatta visited Mama Ida Odinga to comfort her. She was accompanied by Mohoho Kenyatta, George Muhoho and other family members,” Pauline captioned the photos.

Many Kenyans were impressed by Mama Ngina’s timeless appearance and praised the strong bond between the Kenyatta and Odinga families, noting that their display of unity reflected a shared legacy of respect and friendship for all generations.

In other news, Uhuru paid a rare visit to his family’s Northlands City project in Ruiru, where Amref International University recently started operations.

During the visit, he interacted with students and staff, inspected modern facilities, and visited important buildings, including the library and the academic building.

The massive construction, designed to preserve residential, commercial, and industrial areas, continues to attract attention for its large scale and long-term urban vision.
