Bondo, Kenya: Family of the deceased Raila Odinga now it is proud to have a guest after his widow, Ida, decided to arrange a young girl from Turkana who is also called Ida.

The very beautiful girl traveled to Opoda Farm to mourn her hero, to meet a woman whose name is Min Piny, Mama Ida Odinga and offered his condolences.
“Fate smiled while crying, the two Ida Odingas, one accustomed to life, one just starting her life, met face to face. When Mama Ida saw her son in that brave girl, she was touched by the purity of that time, she opened her arms, her heart and her home for him,” said Jaramogi Allan Ofula on Facebook.
“Min Piny has taken the little girl as his own and now little Ida is now the last child of the Odinga Family. She will live under Min Piny’s roof and care until she dies,” he added.

As they interacted more, Ida promised to nurture the boy’s dreams, to fund his education and his journey ahead, writing another beautiful story amidst Odinga’s legacy, a powerful story of love, unity and destiny.
“Sometimes grief sows the seeds of new beginnings. A little girl traveled from Turkana to Bondo to mourn her fallen hero and meet the woman she is named after but that one journey has now changed her destiny and the course of her life forever. The World Is Happy!” said Ofula.
