1. Bungoma: The family mourns their loved one, a student of Masinde Muliro who died while searching for a KDF job

One young man identified as Eugene Malwa from Bungoma sadly died while pursuing his dream of serving his country, and his family was left in a state of despair.

The university was participating in a rigorous physical exercise when his body failed, and as a result, he collapsed and died.

2. A father cried in pain after his son was shot while waiting to look at the body of Raila Odinga

A family in Nairobi is mourning the death of their son, Vincent Otieno, who was tragically shot during the viewing of the body of the late Raila Odinga.

Meshack Okode lost his only son when tensions rose in the stadium Kasarani and the police fired tear gas as well as live ammunition to disperse the crowd.

In a video that has gone viral around the world, Vincent’s father, Meshack Okode, is seen crying uncontrollably next to his son’s body. TUKO.co.ke spoke to Jedida Wafula, a psychologist, who shared tips on how to deal with grief.

3. Laikipia man who will be in jail until 2076 insists he is innocent, does not tell what happened

A 27-year-old Laikipia man identified as Wilson Wambugu was jailed for 80 years after being found guilty of a crime he insists he never committed.

4. The Meru family with the saying ‘Baba while you were away’ is preparing to bury his wife a week after Raila’s funeral

Japheth Muroka stopped the country 11 years ago with the slogan ‘Baba while you were away’, where people told Raila Odinga the problems they were facing under the then government.

Raila returned to the country after a three-month break in the United States and was welcomed by many of his supporters, who followed him from the airport.

On the day of Raila’s funeral, Muroka shared that he had lost his wife the same day Raila died, and his wife was lying in the mortuary.

5. Raila Odinga: The aviation officer who changed the name of the plane to RAO001 speaks

When the news of the death of the beloved Raila Odinga spread, Kenyans from different walks of life began to mourn online and offline; KQ also came out to mourn in style.

Kenya Airways announced that it would change the code of the plane that carried the body in honor of the politician, and when it landed, it had the name RAO001.
