Felix Kabubi disappeared on October 14, leaving his family distraught. They started a frantic search to find him, but all their efforts were fruitless.

A few days later, passers-by noticed a foul smell coming from an abandoned car near a car wash at Dambwa Site and Service in Zambia.

Curious, they peered into the car and discovered the boy’s body, which had begun to decompose, sitting silently near the driver’s seat. They immediately reported to the authorities.

How did Felix Kabubi die?

According to previous reports, Kabubi was not sane, but leaving home was not an issue, as he always returned home.

Southern Zambia Police Commissioner, Auxensio Daka, who confirmed the incident, said that Kabubi must have got into the car out of curiosity, locked himself inside, and could not open the door to escape.

It appeared that he had given up hope of opening the doors and remained in the car, where he met his death.

Daka also reported that the little boy was known to wander into nearby parking lots and often played in or on old cars.

He added that, normally, guardians and security guards would see him and prevent him from entering the vehicles. For luck bad, this time, no one saw him get into the car.

Netizens were surprised when a dead body was found inside an abandoned car

Some social media users spoke about possible foul play, the boy’s usual behavior in parking lots, and concerns about whether his mother had checked on him.

“Based on the information above, one of those people may have locked the young man in the car as a way of punishment and forgot to release him. However, a thorough investigation will determine the source. I submit.”

Rehema Daka:

“The interview that took place at the scene revealed that the boy is known for roaming around the parking lots and often plays in or on vehicles. My question is, why didn’t the mother check on him in the parking lot because she knew that’s where he likes to play? Is it his mother?”

“Who owns that car? I heard that the car was locked. Please help me understand what happened.”
