Did Winnie Odinga talk about Raila’s death?
Speaking to the elders at Raila Bondo’s home, Oburu explained what Winnie OdingaRaila’s youngest daughter, told him.
Winnie was in India with her father throughout his treatment abroad and once said that she had dedicated her life to taking care of her father.
“When that happened, he was walking with his daughter Winnie. He saw everything that happened. That’s what God planned. Jakom is gone, and I just ask you to give him a dignified burial,” he said.
Oburu added that he arrived early so that they could visit the place where Raila will be buried, near the grave of their parents.
He also explained that Raila asked to be buried within 72 hours after his death, but they had to adjust the time because he died abroad.
About Raila’s Funeral

- Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that Oburu tried to calm the crowd that had accompanied Raila’s procession to the Stadium Kasarani.

When will Raila be buried?
The funeral committee formed to arrange Raila’s funeral announced that he will be buried on October 19.
The committee revealed that Raila had ordered that he be buried as soon as possible.
The President also ordered Raila to be given a national funeral and described him as a man who fought for Kenya’s democracy.
Ruto he also said that he had lost a close friend and announced a seven-day mourning period in his honor.
