Raila Odinga: Prince Indah Stays in the Studio Composing Music for the ODM Leader

Ohangla star musician Prince Indah stayed up all night in the studio composing a special song to honor the late Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Raila, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 80, died of a heart attack while receiving treatment in Kochi, India.

His sudden death, after collapsing during a morning walk, has left the nation in deep mourning.

In his heartfelt condolences, Prince Indah expressed the great pain he experienced when he heard the news of Raila’s death.

“It’s a dark Wednesday morning. The pain is beyond the world. Fare you well, Father,” he wrote in a post on the social network.

The same night, the talented Ohangla singer shared an update with his fans, showing himself in the studio preparing a tribute song to the political legend.

He explained that the great spirits of the Luo Got Ramogi descended on him, forcing him to compose a song in honor of Raila Odinga.

“The spirits of Got Ramogi have descended on me this evening,” he said, referring to the spiritual heritage of the Luo people, which has great significance in the community.

Indah revealed that the song will be ready and released the next morning, before Raila’s remains arrive in Kenya.

The body of the former prime minister was expected to land in the country on Thursday, October 16, in the morning. Indah promised that the honor would highlight the admiration and respect she had for Raila Odinga.

“Baba! Agwambo! Jakom! Tinga! Enigma! Hammer! Rao! People’s President! Joshua… Ladies and gentlemen, the spirit of Got Ramogi has descended on me this evening. I am here at Wuod Oganda recording studio, Amolo 3 in 1. Officially, a special tribute song will be released tomorrow at 12:00 am, like tomorrow morning, half past six in the morning. JUOGI. Forever in our hearts Jakawuor,” Indah posted.
