Royal Media Services owner SK Macharia has mourned the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga through a memory message from the bottom of his heart.

Raila passed away on Wednesday, October 15, in India, with earlier reports saying he suffered a heart attack while walking.

The news shocked Kenyans across the country, who have been paying respect to the leader.

What did SK Macharia say about Raila before he died?

Just one day before Raila’s death, Macharia had spoken at a facilitation ceremony in Siaya, participating that he had been in touch recently with the former prime minister.

He recalled that Raila had assured her that he was in good health, citing that he was “walking” and “flying” and would return to Kenya soon.

How did SK Macharia mourn Raila Odinga?

In an emotional message circulated by Citizen television, Macharia described the loss he felt from Raila’s sudden death.

“Words can’t describe what I feel today. I am very sad. Raila Odinga was not just a friend; he was a brother and part of my life. He said.

He focused on Raila’s major impact on the country, saying:

“Kenya has lost a mysterious and patriotic politician.

In addition, Macharia emphasized the importance of Kenyans to respect Raila for his main role in achieving the 2010 Constitution and Constitution.

“Let his spirit continue to lead our unparalleled goal of good governance, accountability and transparency in Kenya. In the future in Kenya will not be the same and will never be the same without Raila Odinga,” noted.

Concluding his emotional message, Macharia sent his condolences to the wife of the late politician, Ida, and his family and the mourning Kenyans.

“For Mama Ida, Raila’s children, and my fellow Kenyans, let’s move forward in our joint journey and follow the path that Raila would always wish us. This is our loss. This is our biggest loss,” he added.
