Sister Anselmina Karimi, the main monk in Nkabune’s children’s residence, lost her life in a vague situation.
His mourning family has dismissed allegations that his death belonged to Luck Bad, as previously thought.
What did Sister Anselmina Karimi tell the family before her death?
Sister Karimi’s brother, Martin Mbae, revealed that he had previously expressed concern about his safety and felt he was not safe at the children’s home.
“For almost a year, he was saying that he did not feel safe at the institution. The reason was that he had been moved, but they did not let him know where he would go,” He said.
Mbae said that another sister, who was intended to take over her post, had already reported at work, but Sister Karimi had not yet been told where she would serve later.
He further explained that when he saw his body, he was lying on the floor with his hand on his head.
“I asked Sister Caro why Karimi’s hand was placed behind her head, and she told me it was because she was trying to see if everything was right for her. I asked if she had witnessed what had happened,” Mbae remembered.
Police inspecting the scene indicated that the circumstances of his death were questionable.
When they discovered his body earlier that morning, it is said that it showed signs of bruises and was bleeding in the nostrils, mouth and ears.
Preliminary investigations suggested that Sister Karimi might have been hit by something dull.
Additionally, police noted that his room seemed to be cleaned to try to remove any evidence, and his phone was turned off at midnight, on the night of the incident.

Who killed Sister Anselmina Karimi?
The main suspect in his murder is another monk, Carolyne Kanjiru, who had moved to the institution recently.
He was arrested and detained for 14 days in connection with Karimi’s death.
According to reports, Sista Carolyne demanded help after discovering Sister Karimi’s body, insisting that she be taken to hospital.
In court, Senior Resident Magistrate, Evaline Ndegwa stressed the seriousness of the case and refused to provide bail to the accused, saying it was important to protect her from public anger.
“Once the investigation is completed, two results are expected: either he will be charged with the offense, or he will be released and released from detention. By that time, community anger will be calm,” He said.
