Baringo – Residents have expressed their displeasure with the unconscious state surrounding the Kenya African National Union (KANU) for the Senator’s seat Gideon Moi.

On Thursday, October 9, Gideon was scheduled to appear before the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for approval.
Did Gideon Moi come before IEBC officials?
KANU’s chairman had been allocated between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to submit his sheets but did not arrive until the closure of the separated window.
Thousands of his followers are waiting for him at Kabarnet airport to take him to the office of IEBCbut he never happens.
Moi, who was expected to present his papers earlier today, has delayed the process, thus raising fears among his supporters that government forces may be trying to prevent his mission.

Is Gideon Moi running for Senator Baringo?
Recent events are coming amid allegations that Gideon had a meeting with Ruto at the Nairobi White House, where he was persuaded to release the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate.
According to one of the daily newspapers, the two politicians held a surprise meeting at the White House on Wednesday, October 9, where the by -elections played a major role during negotiations.
According to a White House official, KANU chairman agreed to withdraw from the new Baringo senatorial race.
“He has agreed to withdraw from Baringo’s race,” The White House official said.

What are Gideon Moi 2027 plans?
In a related news, Nairobi governor’s candidate Tony Gokoka dismissed allegations that KANU chairman was decorating the Ruto camp.
Speaking on 47 television, Gupoka said Moi had intended to run for the presidency 2027, saying that meeting with Ruto would cause him politically death.
Nor is he a member of the opposition coalition.
Gupoka added that the leader of his party would hold his resolution to grab the Baringo senatorial seat in the November 27 elections.
