This is happening following a video that spread across the internet, where the spoken pasta was heard confessing to being part of a gang that abused a woman.
The remarks in the video seized Ng’ang’a appearing to admit involvement in a group of eight people linked to a woman’s sexual abuse in the past.
Why is Esther Passaris wants the pastor to be examined
Passaris wanted the national parliament to intervene to force DCI to examine the preacher.
However he did not give judgment against Ng’ang’a immediately. Speaking at a session on Wednesday afternoon, October 8, Passaris thanked that the video could be the creation of artificial intelligence machines, but wanted a thorough investigation to be conducted to determine the truth.
If it is found to be fake, then the characters should face justice, and if it is truly confirmed, then Ng’ang’a should be presented to the justice system, Passaris suggested.
The MP presented the matter to the National Assembly Committee on Administration and Internal Security, headed by Narok West MP Gabriel Tongoyo.
“In this AI and digital distortion, it is often difficult to determine if the content is true or false. However, this kind of video requires immediate and detailed investigation.
The MP noted that whether the video is false or not a problem.
Passaris was worried that the victims of such sexual abuse were left to suffer after a terrible experience in the hands of the offenders.
He called on the Committee to inform Parliament about legal action and otherwise be taken in line with the matter, and if the DCI is fully investigated.
“It exposes the misuse of dangerous technology to spread lies, to undermine faith and to traumatize the victims of sexual assault. Sexual abuse that can be triggered by the spread of such sensitive content online, reports about the government’s plans to control, monitor and prevent the misuse of artificial intelligence and other digital technologies that produce or play the contents of the technological abuse and thus prevent the crime.
