According to this magazine, the President William Ruto He initiated a conversation with KANU chairman Gideon Moi to persuade him to stop his bid for a Baringo Senate scheduled for November 27.

The two leaders held a private meeting in the White House, being their first face -to -face meeting since the 2022 general elections, signifying the possibility of bringing about political change in the Rift Valley.

Sources indicate that the conference focused on the upcoming elections and commercial interests of the Moi family under the current administration.

Ruto is said to have urged Moi to leave to beat the candidate UDAVincent Chemitei, but Moi refused, saying he needed time to consult with Kanu officials. The White House circles, however, insisted Moi agreed to withdraw.

According to the Swahili newspaper, the Catholic Church in Kenya has introduced a new form of wine for use during the Holy Mass.

The announcement was made by Archbishop Maurice Muhatia, Chairman of the Catholic Bishops’ Council of Kenya (KCCB), during the National Prayer Day at the Subukia altar, which attracted tens of thousands of believers.

Archbishop Muhatia announced that the ancient altar wine, previously released by the Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (Kwal), would no longer be used.

Each bottle has the bishops logo and the chair sign for realism. Although no formal reason for the change, church sources said the old wine had lost its holiness after being found much in bars, hotels and supermarkets.

The new wine has a minimum of 17 percent alcohol compared to 18 percent in the past and is clearly written “Mass wine.”

Archbishop Muhatia explained that the decision was made locally, not with the Vatican, and called on believers to stop giving the old wine.

According to this publication, more than 300 villagers in Mata Village, Taveta, Taita Taveta County, have been homeless after being fired from a 1,000 -acre farm owned by President William Ruto.

Many have now shot tents outside the field fence, struggling with colds and slums.

Hamidas David said women, children and the elderly are the most suffering, while houses and grocery stores are destroyed by children failing to attend school.

He added that local administrators visited and congratulated the police for implementing the transfer, and demanded that residents move the “president’s land.”

The crisis farm, with a total of approximately 2,500 acres, is located along the Cessi-Jipe Road facing Lake Jipe and the spreading hills Tanzania.

The land dispute has been ongoing, with cases in court are still incomplete.
