Who was Dennis Kasyoki?
Close friends and her family described her as a man whose goodness left a mark in the lives of many.
However, the disaster occurred on September 21, when the Ford Ranger Kasyi car crashed into a trailer on the Mombasa Road.
During her sad funeral, friends and family praised her as a faithful husband, a loving father, and a pillar in her community.
How did Kasyoki’s mother have left?
However, what touched the hearts of many was the time of great sadness when his mother, Mercy Yumbya, cried out for his son with a bitterness.
Shortly after Kasyoki’s wife, Regina Mumo, and her daughter, Nisha Katee, to read their heartfelt condolences, Mercy stood on the platform overwhelmed with sadness.
She found herself crying bitterly as she lodged her son’s coffin, crying aloud in his Kamba language.
He was heard screaming and even seeming to refuse to release the coffin, which forced the women who were about to comfort him during his severe pain.
The sadness was so great that he could not read the speech he had prepared, forcing the family member to read to him on his behalf.
“My dear son Dennis, words cannot express the pain of losing you. Since the day you were created, you brought happiness, pride and laughter in my life. You were never a son but you were also a friend and mentor,” Part of the speech read.
In addition, it added:
“Your love, respect and generosity touched everyone around you. Although your life was suddenly interrupted, your memories will remain in my heart forever.
After the speech was read, Mercy gathered a little force to speak briefly, her voice trembling when she gave her last words to her late son.
“My son, I loved you and you loved me, but now that God loved you more, rest in peace my son. I love you, I love you, I love you,” He said with tears before he left, his face was full of sadness.
