Through his allies, Ruto joined himself in the Kalonzo Stadium and the message of political support. This move leaves the former vice president on the ramp: either to remain in opposition or to join the government, as his long -standing political ally, Raila Odinga.

According to Kayaya, Ruto camp did not give up to bring Kalonzo, emphasizing their respect for the former vice president.

It is in honor that we ask him to abandon the people fighting against the government, but they have already enjoyed development projects while we are still not as progressive as their regions,” the MP added.
His views were supported by Masinga MP Joshua Mwalyo and appointing senators Beth Syengo and Tabitha Mutinda.
“If Raila, the opposition is working with development because he knows that is the way to get development projects for his people, then Kalonzo has every right to enter and make sure the whole area of Ukraine benefits,” Mwalyo said.
