A veteran comedian who turned into a politician, Walter Mong’are, a famous Nyambane, has opened up about when he and his fellow radio presenter, Caroline Mutokowhen faced with a case of KSh 21 million.

Why did Martha Karua accuse Caroline Mutoko?
In an interview with Chris The Bass, Nyambane claimed that despite having never said anything against a veteran politician Martha Karuahe was ordered in the case.
“Caroline and I were in the air at one time, and I think she was very upset by Martha Karua. And whatever happened that morning, I never said anything that would involve me or take me to the court hall. But Martha accused us of Ksh 21 million. I never said anything against her. What was going on, and I’m trying to tell Caroline, let’s go easier for this and the next, you have a case against it, a sentence has been issued, and you have to pay KSh 21 million for that. ” He said.
The famous comedian revealed that his employer was forced to find ways to recover the money from their salaries.
He also added that he is now in politics, he has crossed the way with Karua, but they have never returned to the negotiations.
“We were charged as individuals, not as a radio station. It was ordered, but Caroline and I were in the dock, and I was wondering what I am doing here, but that’s what it means to take a shot to your colleague. he added.

Was Nyambane fired?
Elsewhere, the former comedian was dismissed in 2024 by the Secretary -General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Korir Singoei.
Singoie announced that Nyambane was no longer allowed to conduct any transactions on behalf of the ministry.
Nyambane was working as Director of Planning, Advocacy, and Mobilization under the Ministry.
