Nakuru: One South Sudanese family has been closed after the body of your disappeared son, Mark Mayan, was obtained from the national park of the lake Nakuru.

A third -grade student at Flamingo Secondary School, Mark Mayan, was reported to have died during a fishing caravan with his colleagues last week.
What caused Mark Mayan’s body recovery?
Mayan, who lived in Naka Estate, had joined a youth group for walks but failed to return home. His disappearance led to the report of a lost person, resulting in police investigations.
According to Bol Ajak Atem, Chairman of the South Sudanese community in Nakuru, the family was informed by four Kenyan youths on September 27 that Mayan had them until he disappeared.
“We were given the opportunity to enter the park and try to find dead bodies in the lake, but we couldn’t find it,” Atem said. “We released the examination team, and the body was later found and clearly identified by relatives on Tuesday, September 30.”
The Mayan body was transported to PNN Funeral Home for postmortem examination and other important processes.
Is fishing allowed in Lake Nakuru?
The incident raised concerns about illegal fishing activities in Lake Nakuru, which have been banned by the government due to security risks.
Atem called on the local youth to respect the rules set to prevent such disasters.

“I want to tell all South Sudanese and other Kenyans, when we are told not to enter the park without authority, you must comply with the law,” he added.
Authorities continue to investigate the water sink environment.

Elsewhere, a student from the University of Lukenya died in water sadly while swimming in Tsavo’s Inn in Mtito Andei during his birthday.
According to the Maxwell Ombui family, the owner of the hotel failed to notify the authorities and instead transported the body to the hospital using his private car.
The family called on the police and the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) to take immediate action, expressing concern that the hotel continued to work and that the owner had not been arrested.
A man from Nairobi dies while swimming at Olkaria
In another dying case, a 24 -year -old from Nairobi, Dennis Gitonga, died of water while celebrating his birthday at the Kengen Geothermal Spa shop in Olkarai, Naivasha, Nakuru County.
According to reports, Gitonga lost consciousness while swimming and swallowing large amounts of water.
He was rushed to Naivasha County Hospital for the company’s ambulance but was announced that he had died when he arrived. A dead examination confirmed that the cause of the death was to sink into the water.
