Did the police confirm the death of Benedict Kabiru?
This comes a few days after NPS confirmed the death of Benedict Kabiru, who disappeared in March this year.
Kabiru was among the Kenyan officials who traveled to Haiti for the MSS mission aimed at combating chaos and the rise of gangs in the Caribbean nation.

The officer reportedly disappeared on March 26, a day after an attack against troops in a high-ending Carrefour Paye-Savien connection in the Pont-Sonde area.
Months passed, with police officers failing to understand their colleague. The Kabiru body search operation was carried out by his MSS colleagues in partnership with the Haitian national police.
Following this, the Kabiru family was informed that their family was not there, and efforts to find him were ongoing. The search lasted for several months, and the worst of the family fears was confirmed.
These are rumored when the President William Ruto He announced the death of Kabiru during the UN General Assembly (UN) 2025.
Police also issued a formal statement to confirm Kabiru’s death on Thursday, September 25. NPS sent the same sad message to the deceased’s family.
