He was in line with Kenya’s political future and called on Kenyans to “emulate” the same spirit during the next 2027 general elections.
In a long post on his official Facebook page, Gachagua congratulated Malawi’s nominee, Peter Mutharika, for what he referred to as “Historical Democratic Victory.”
What did Gachagua say about Malawi’s election?
He said the result is not only Malawi’s victory but a statement to the rest of Africa, reminding leaders who are consistent with the corruption and corruption that citizens are still holding the final authority.
“Congratulations, Mutharika and the great and courageous people of Malawi, for their historic democratic victory,” Gachagua wrote.
“In your election as the 7th President of the Republic of Malawi, your victory is the biggest, most important victory in the history of future African elections being ignored by anyone.”
Gachagua suggested the election a good time for Africa, which should encourage citizens on the rest of the continent to hold their leaders accountable.
He claimed that Malawi’s votes sent a heavy message against dictatorship, corruption, and the government, and called on Kenyans to consider the 2027 elections as they approached.
“This election was more than a national victory for the Republic of Malawi; it is a declaration of the mainland. It is a declaration that Africa, the rising continent and the residence of 1.5 billion people, is no longer the field of religious hypocrisy, socialism, corruption, health, dictatorship and dedicated rulerships,” Gachagua announced.
Former deputy president, who was ousted after a fierce dispute with the President William Rutohe did not reduce his words to include Malawi’s political change and the current Kenyan leadership.
He mentioned the names of celebrities such as Idi Amin, Mobutu Sese Seko, Jean-Bédel Bokassa and Robert Mugabe, saying their uncontrolled authorities have collapsed due to the weight of the vote.
“The people of Malawi have shown that the vote remains the most powerful entity of liberation, where governments have failed to listen to their people. Kenya looks equally, before the 2027 general elections, and Kenyans are wise,” He said.

His message carried an undeniable call to take action, urging citizens to overcome fear and threats to restore their future.
“I call on the people of the Republic of Kenya to gain strength from Malawi’s courage and to exercise self -control. Such as our Malawian brothers and sisters, we must reject fear and anxiety, reject hopelessness, and restore our future democratic ways,” He said.
The brave politician, who has recently emerged as a fierce critic of Ruto and his administration, ended his post in a public cry, vowing to make Ruto the president of one term.
Why did President Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi agree to fail?
Earlier TUKO.co.ke reported that Chakwera agreed to fail in the September 16 elections, thus clearing the way to Mutharika’s return to power.
The exemption surprised many as Chakwera tried early legal means to prevent the release of results.
Speaking on national television, Chakwera said the results were disappointing, but he respected the wishes of the Malawians.
He acknowledged that the preliminary and approved calculations gave Mutharika the Chief Leader and assured the public that the transfer of the authorities would be handled properly in accordance with the Constitution.
Chakwera, who served as the sixth president of Malawi, also confirmed that his party accepted a recent Supreme Court decision that dismissed efforts to stop the outcome.
