The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), represented by state prosecutor Esther Mutisya, told the court that his office had received a request for reconciliation from Ochora’s defense attorney Evans Ondieki and needed more time to get directions.

The judge, citing the constitutional principle of promoting peaceful solutions, accepted the request.

Earlier in July, Charlene failed to come to court, which prompted O Children to request the release on the basis of the lack of prosecution.
