Speaking on Sunday, September 21 when he agreed to defeat, Ryan claimed the PCS office contributed to influence Malava’s outcome.

He said the process had to focus on compromise between candidates rather than votes.

“We were with the Secretary -General of the Cabinet Musalia Mudavadi, and the plan was to negotiate ourselves and agree who would get a ticket. But instead, we were directed to vote,” Ryan said.

Did Mudavadi interfere with Malava politics?

Although he held it to be President William Ruto And other UDA party leaders refrained from the exercise, he questioned why Mudavadi chose to get involved in Malava politics.

“For the PCS office, what was the only thing about Malava even if you had to fight a boy like me? Why didn’t you let the Malava people make their own choices?“He was surprised.

Ryan pointed out that Mudavadi and his late father had a close political relationship, saying Malulu Injendi often stood with the PCS when he faced opposition in western Kenya.

He wondered why Mudavadi would now work against his son.

Even when he expressed his sadness, Ryan accepted and congratulated Kakamega County leader David Ndakwa, who grabbed the ticket. He urged him to put Malava in government.

“We have agreed, but we will not forget. I will move and let Ndakwa campaign, but I am still behind the government and Ruto,” Ryan said.

Added, “The people of Malava must remember that we are accustomed to being in government. We must do everything to stay there.

Mudavadi, who is currently in New York for the 80th UN General Assembly, has not yet responded to the allegations.

Earlier this year, he dissolved his Peace National Congress and joined it with UDA.

Ryan had announced his intention to contest for the Malava seat on April 17 during a prayer service in honor of his father, making the announcement in front of UDA senior leaders.

The limited election to replace Malulu Injendi and several other MPs are scheduled for November 27.

How did the UDA candidate in Malava’s by -election die?

The first casualties in the upcoming Malava elections were recorded after UDA candidate Enock Andanje Musambai collapsed and died on his way to the widows.

He was preparing to run for a parliamentary seat that was left open following the death of Malulu Injendi.

Reports stated that Andanje suffered a sudden weakness before being rushed to hospital, where efforts to revive him were not harmful.
