A minority leader in Kakamega County Parliament, David Ndakwa, is the candidate of UDA For the Malava parliamentary seat in the by -elections of Parliament to be held on November 27.
Ndakwa got the ticket after getting 6,477 votes against his opponent Ryan Injendi, who took second place with 3,783 votes.
Leonard Shimaka got 1,192 votes, with Simon Kangwana getting 1,064 votes. Ndakwa was declared the winner of the ruling party polls on Saturday night.
Inkindi admitted failure but claimed there were voters’ bribes and asked questions about the right to the election, emphasizing the outcome did not show the wishes of the Malava people.

In a special edition of Kenya Gazette Supplement of September 19, 2025, Murkomen released Legal Notice No. 157 under the Anti -Terrorism Act.
The announcement legitimizes penalties for anyone involved in membership, funding, cooperation or propaganda of those groups, where the parties will face high fines or long bonds.
Although none of these have ever made major attacks in the country, intelligence agencies have identified them by leading to strong position, secret registration, and relations with international terrorist networks.
The Muslim Brotherhood, founded in Egypt in 1928, is a social, political and religious movement banned in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates for allegedly promoting extremist and undermining the state’s authority.
