Monica arrived at her house at the Lamuria Garden in Nairobi on the night of September 2018, after jumping from Juba, South Sudan. He was going to rest before his trip to Dubai the next day.

What happened to Monica Kimani?
Monica had guests in her house, and Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu was among them.
Two other men with Monica, drinking her at Lamuria Apartments, were Walid and Owen.
Owen and Walid revealed that they were on the floor when Jowie arrived wearing a white coat.
George, his brother, went to Monica’s house early the following morning when he didn’t respond to his phones.
She found Monica dead in a shower basin, with her throat cut from ear to ear, with her hands and feet closed, and blood everywhere.
Who killed Monica Kimani?
Jowie was arrested and charged with Monica’s murder.
After a five -year trial, the Supreme Court handed down its decision on February 9, 2024, and found Jowie guilty of the murder. Judge Grace Nzioka led.
Jowie was sentenced to death for the crime in March 2024.
Journalist Jacque Maribewho was also charged, was released.
Her brother remembered after her death her beloved sister and a hearty video. In the video, he attached their pictures.
