Police officers in Kirinyaga are detaining a 53 -year -old who allegedly beaten a chief of the chief five years ago.

The suspect, identified as James Kamau Gachoki, was trapped on Sunday, September 14, in Karigo-liver, Murang’a County, when he was hiding.
He was later transferred to the Kisanyaga police station and is expected to appear in court on Monday, September 15.

The chief, who almost burst into tears as he recounted his concern to the minister, revealed how tired he was tired of the police as he tried to seek justice for his son.
Chief Mugo said publicly that the Kijika and Kiamutugu police officers had been disturbing him with endless promises since the incident occurred in 2020.
“I am happy that the suspect has finally been arrested after seeking help CS Murkomen. We are heading to the Kiyaga police station with my son,” Mugo told TUKO.co.ke.
The chief revealed that his 18 -year -old son had endured years of psychological injuries after being abused by a well -known man in the community.
In addition, he explained that the incident had split his family, as his wife left their building after the tragedy, leaving him alone with the responsibility of raising the affected child.
During the conference, Minister Murkomen directed the detectives to reopen the case, and promised that the boy would eventually get justice.

Murkomen’s promise gave him a new hope for the chief, who was disappointed after years of disappointment and the justice system.
“Of course the suspect is here with us. He was brought by detectives yesterday,” Said Kirinyaga East Police Commander, Johnson Wachira.
Wachira assured that investigators were finalizing the case to ensure Gachoki was charged without delay.
His arrest has been well received by local officials and residents, who described it as a move to restore public confidence in security forces.
