Speaking at the Nairobi White House on Saturday, September 13, during talks with teachers, Ruto said the health sector has been a major goal for dishonest actors who use personal gain.

He revealed that fraudulent practices have begun to emerge under the Community Health Authority (SHA), a program designed to strengthen the universal health care (UHC) and replace the broken National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF).

According to the President, NHIF was full of systematic fraud, including billions of billions of dollars. He mentioned amazing cases such as hospital forgery up to ten surgery for one patient to loot taxpayers’ money.
