JSC responds after a video of the murmur emerged speaking of corruption in the court

Nairobi – The Court has made a statement following allegations of Muigai about extreme corruption among judges.

An online video showed Muigai accusing several judges of receiving bribes in a case involving Benjoh Amalgamated Ltd & Muiri Coffee Estate Ltd and Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB).

Did Kinga Muigai accuse the judges of corruption?

In the video, Muigai painted bitterly how senior judges were linked to allegations of bribery depriving him of more than 33 years.

The JSC wondered why Muigai waited for many years to testify of corruption when some of the judges mentioned were already dead or retired.

“We completely deny any proposals for a violation of ethics and judges who were serving these issues. No authority has ever received evidence of crime or corruption, and Mr Muigai has not given reliable evidence to prove his claim. Said the Court spokesman, Paul Ndemo.

Why did the JSC strongly oppose the rumors of the murmur?
