The man identified by the name of Kizito Fanuel had paid the healer to help him make the ritual, a situation that sparked controversy from his family members.

Speaking to Global TV Online, some of the family members have stated that their brother’s act has shocked them because they are Christians and do not believe in such acts.

He explained that Kizito had goats, chickens, eggs, blood, and were in the grave digging movement when they found him.

Despite making the ritual in his Boma, the Kizito family acknowledged that they had no right to control what he had done in his area, but questioned the origin of the ritual.

“They filled the water into the grave before they plunged a dead goat and other things. Another brother said.

She mentioned that the dead woman was a young sister, and it was useless for her to carry out rituals that went against their Christian faith.

“They used blood and eggs, which are things associated with magic. We have every right to express our concerns,” he added.

The family claimed to have lost four people since this year to start and wonder if magic has anything to do with the deaths.

In anger over what had happened, the family struck the healer, though he did not take revenge.

The ranger explained that Kizito was the one who phoned him because he needed healing.

“He said he was sick, he had trouble sleeping, and he was worried. I came here to make rituals to live in peace, we pray to God,” The ranger claimed.

He explained that they were forced to sacrifice the goat and that the eggs found in a mined tomb are just dirt and nothing more.
