At least 24% of respondents want Oduol to replace Orengo in 2027, while only 24.2% support the incumbent.
Nicholus Gumbo, David Ochieng and Milliecent emerged third, four and five respectively.
“The study puts Dr. William Oduol leading to 29.4%, James Orengo 24.2%& Nicholus Gumbo following about 20.6%,” Balance Africa said.
According to Balance Africa, Orengo’s popularity has dropped due to its prolonged absence and deterioration by Oduol.
“Governor Orengo’s estimation seems to be diminished, especially fueled by its long -term absence, disagreement with his deputy and poor management of the county treasury and its officials. The research agency said.
However, the research company said the competition remained open as a large part of the voters had not yet been decided before the 2027 elections.
