Musician of Bongo Flava Dogo Janja is in trouble after shooting at a university student.

The musician, whose real name is Abdulaziz Abubakari, allegedly shot a fourth -year student, Bakari Halifa, 18, in Arusha in the country Tanzania.
The 30 -year -old is reportedly shooting Bakari on the night of August 23, as he headed for his brother’s house to dinner.
Why did Dogo Janja shoot the student?
According to the Tanzanian media, Bakari and his friend, allegedly armed, asked the musician who was coming down from his car at 11:30 pm.
The artist who is running for the seat in Ngarenaro, Arusha, is reportedly shooting Bakari claiming he was a thief who wanted to attack him along with his colleague.
However, the Bakari family has emerged and dismissed allegations that he was a thief demanding justice.
Speaking to Bongofive, Bakari’s sister said she was the dependency of their family, and Dogo Janja should be punished despite her social status.
“My brother is not and has never been a thief. Even yesterday I knew they had killed my brother (I thought he was dead after being shot) we claim justice to our brother,” The victim’s sister said before she cried out.
The brother of the deceased during the interview and he blamed Dogo Janja for the brutal act demanding that justice be done to Bakari.
He said: “If he can shoot someone and he has not won the election, what if he is elected?”

The Arusha police force issued a statement following the incident and said they had begun the investigation.
“Abdulaziz Abukari, a resident of Levolosi Arusha, as he got out of his car demanded that he be attacked by Bakari Halifa and his armed counterpart so he had to use his rifle to protect himself and the two defendants were being held at the police station while the investigation was underway,” It read part of the statement.
