Confusion about KSh 20 million health care funds have been extinguished after the Nyandiwa Level Four Hospital provided clarification.

The health center has confirmed it received funding from the Community Health Authority (SHA).
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, officials at the hospital at Gwassi North’s ward, Suba South, said reports that the money was sent to the unreal facility Homa Bay was misleading.
They made it clear that the money was deposited into their account.
Why Sha Did it send money to the Nyandiwa Dyazwa Dynami Account?
Fredrick Owino, a medical officer in charge of the hospital, said the institute operates under a bank account known as Nyandiwa Dispensary.
The name did not change even after the center was upgraded to a four -level hospital in 2022, which could create confusion.
“We know about the confusion but we want to clarify that we have received the money. Owino said.
He added that the hospital plans to use resources from SHA and other partners in new projects, including external patients and internal patients are fully integrated, to expand services such as maternal and child care.
“We can do a little surgery, but we have to send a patient with a serious problem, including childbirth surgery at other facilities. Our vision is to provide many services needed by people here,” He said.
Acting Chairman of the Hospital Board, Zadoc Aloo, also spoke to TUKO.co.ke, noting that the center has plans annual and five -year to guide its growth.

Do Homa Bay patients get benefits from Sha?
He said that cooperation between workers has facilitated the achievement of major infrastructure projects.
“The board has ensured that hospital staff are working together. This gives us the ability to achieve our goals. Right now we have major development projects being undertaken,“Aloo said.
Patients have already begun to gain benefits from SHA funds. Jane Sugu, who was hospitalized on August 22 with cholera, told TUKO.co.ke that her medical bills were fully funded.
“I live along the coast and sometimes I use water directly from the lake. I believe it was the dirty water that made me be smiled,” Sugu said, adding that his condition improved after treatment.
What did it say about Nyandiwa Hospital?
In another statement, Sha explained that it sent KSh 20 million to Nyandiwa Health Center.
Doubts were raised that the center, which had been abandoned for a long time after construction, was used as a means of transferring public funds.

SHA noted that the opposed payments were related to the approved claims within its systems, not with the abandoned facility.
